LESSONS

"Online & In Person Lessons"

I teach five different types of lessons based on your goals. All lesson include creativity,

music appreciation, reading music, music theory, and technique.

Young Beginner Fundamental Lessons

Have fun with music

Four days a week for five weeks.  This course is for 4 to 5 year olds. The Beginner Fundamental Course is a foundation course before you start taking weekly private lessons. Each lesson includes how to exercise correct finger position; playing piano by rote,; fun rhythm games; and ear training with tones. Having lessons 4 days a week will help a child understand how to practice daily and how to improve consistently. This is a fun activity for after school and during summer!

Private Lessons

Personalized Attention

Private lessons include techniques, playing different periods of music, theory and ear training. I cater to teach person's abilities and strengths. In this course, a student will learn to read music and to play and learn over all musicianship.

Adult Private Lessons

Learn to play the music you love!

Everybody has a favorite song or two! Let's learn to play the music you love whether you are a beginner or you grew up playing the piano. I design your lessons for your goals. Let's have music in your life!

Online Lessons

Worldwide in English & in Japanese

You can have your piano lessons from the comfort of your home with your own piano. You can make a 15 minutes trial lesson appointment to cover placement of computer, sound and bandwidth.

Ear Training & Theory

Ability to interact with music

Ear training will help you improve the way you hear, and listen to melodies, rhythms and understand music. Incorporating music theory will teach you how each piece is composed.

RECITAL

Music is a performing art to share with everyone! I host an annual recital in Spring. All of my students have successfully performed at the annual recital every year. Participation in recitals can be a great experience to build confidence, inspiration and motivation for students. It is a very warm and relaxing atmosphere

and students are presented with certificates.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

I am a member of MTNA ( Music Teachers National Association). CAPMT (California Association of Professinal Music Teachers) is a part of MTNA which offers many opportunities for students including evaluations and competitions at state and local levels. Student evaluations are a great way to show a student's progress in learning and mastering different periods of music, techniques, ear training and theory. If you are interested in the program,

please let me know at the beginning of the school year to prepare for the program.
