Nexon is ready to announce the last year’s goodbyes and celebrate the new year’s ringing in Blue. There’s one catch to this sentiment.
The New Year’s blue archive event is live now in the English-language edition. The event, named New Years Rhapsody No. 68, brings two new limited-rarity characters into the forefront. This also brings up a new story, which is reflected in the famous Kivotos game.
The Problem Solver 68 characters Aru and Mutsuki join the conflict. When Aru performs her EX Skill, she gains 1 Skill Cost for each bad deed and delivers piercing damage equal to her ATK to one foe, which then bounces between foes a maximum of 11 times. Mutsuki’s EX Skill causes enemies within an arch-shaped region to suffer mystic damage proportional to her ATK.
In addition to the story update, 15 different New Years-themed furniture items such as “New Year Pattern Background” and “New Year Releazing Kotatsu” have been added. Various events will be held in celebration of the update. All users who log-in by Tuesday, Aug. 16 will receive 1,200 of in-game currency Pyroxene. Also, players will receive a “New Year’s Lucky Pouch” for completing the event story and quest, which can be exchanged for various rewards such as “Mutsuki’s Eleph,” “Kayoko’s Eleph” and more until Tuesday, Aug. 30.
Additionally, players who complete the event’s tale and the quest will earn a New Year’s Lucky Pouch that can be exchanged for a variety of prizes, including Mutsuki’s Eleph, Kayoko’s Eleph, and more, until Tuesday, August 30. Aru, Serika, and the members of Problem Solver 68 are shown in a new light in a promo film that Nexon released to mark the beginning of the event story update on Blue Archive’s official YouTube channel.
The Blue Archive New Year’s Rhapsody event takes place until August 22, 2022. This game is available on mobile devices.
